Do you have too many digital images or videos to sort through, or maybe even delete? Here are four easy ways to organize your files.

Create an Album.

If you have a lot of digital photos or videos, you can use an album to help you find what you need quickly. An album is simply a folder with a name. You can make one by clicking “New Folder” at the top of any photo or video window. Then type in the name of the album you want to create. Click “OK” when finished.

Share Collections Online.

Once you have made an album, you can share it online so others can view it. To do this, click “Share” next to the album you just created. This will open up a new window where you can choose who can see the album. You can also add tags to the album so people searching for those tags can find it more easily.

Sort by Date.

If you have lots of photos or videos stored on your computer, you might not know what to do with them. You can use one of these four methods to help you organize your memories.

Tag Photos with Keywords.

One method to organize your digital photos is to tag each photo with keywords. This will make it easier to find the photos later when you need them. For example, if you take pictures at an event, you can tag each picture with the name of the event. Then, when you search for those events, you’ll see all the pictures taken during that event.
